Welcome to my academic webpage!

I am a PhD candidate at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University and am currently on the job market!

My research interests are primarily in the field of development economics, with a particular focus on studying human capital investments in developing countries. I use applied econometric and program evaluation techniques to explore topics of interest. My job-market paper investigates the effectiveness of an information intervention in influencing post-secondary track choice using rich, experimental data that I collected myself from constituent schools of a large public state university in the East Indian state of Jharkhand.

My dissertation committee consists of Ravi Kanbur (chair), Prabhu Pingali (co-chair), Jim Berry and David Just.

I will be available for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Chicago from the 6th to 8th of January, 2017. You can download my CV here.
